Hello Friends, This is Neena Arora  @neena_paperandscissors  , today I am sharing my first work as Fantasy DT. I created a short video on how to make different types of flowers  using "Set of sharp-petaled hydrangeas" die. You will be amazed to see how assembling in a different manner can give you totally different results.  I have used 300gsm light pink cardstock and coloured it with three different shades. Here are the photos. To know how I created these beautiful flower check out the process video The die I used:  "Set of sharp-petaled hydrangeas". I hope you like and enjoy the process video

A mixed-media Layout "Ecstasy”

Image
Hello lovely people, I am Neena Arora  @neena_paperand scissors  here again with a new work named “Ecstasy”- a mixed-media layout designed for Fantasy dies. I created this to frame precious memories and decorate on the wall. I tried to give a warm, cozy, feminine feel to the layout. I have used two different papers out of which dark one I have torn roughly, distressed with brown ink and pasted in layers at the bottom.   I have covered the full page with clear gesso and given the crackle texture in the background than coloured with crimson and brown sprays. I have used two photos to give an extension to my assembly. Cardboard pieces in the base are used to give height to photos, fussy cut elements and to the flowers in order to add layers to my layout.   Flowers which I used here are handmade created for fantasy dies using     "Set of sharp-petal hydrangeas"  I have  also used Fantasy "Curl,  "New Year's pattern 2-2018" (one of my favorit...

Uneven drawer chest

Image
Hello everyone  Here I am sharing beautiful decoupaged Uneven drawer chest.  I have first emery the drawer and than painted 2 -3 times with chalk paints giving 3-4 hours of intervals.  After coating of 3 layers l have used masking tape for making equal margin lines  and than again used another colour chalk paint working in same manner as done earlier.  After it’s dried I peeled off the tape. This is how I set the drawer ready for decoupage work. Than I used easy Paper cutout and pasted it using decoupage glue and also applied thin layer of glue on whole drawer. After the drawer is dried I used texture paste and stencil to give additional effects. Again I have applied 2-3 coats of decoupage glue giving minimum 3 hours of interval.  And it’s ready for display. https://www.theelementcraftstudio.com/product/stepped-drawer-chest/ https://www.crafterscorner.in/lilac-folkart-home-decor-chalk-paint-2oz
